The show opened up on an excellent
note, as fan favorite Hardcore KC faced off against 'The Man' Matt
Boston, with his bodyguard Twist handcuffed to the ring post. KC quickly
took advantage of the situation, and gave Boston the beating he has
deserved for months. Eventually, Boston pulled out a pair of wire
cutters he had under the ring, and freed Twist. But, it wasn't enough to
stop KC! Twist soon found himself in an Ankle Lock! Then, Boston himself
was trapped in KC's ankle Lock, where he finally tapped out, giving KC
the victory!
Next up, Rian Cruz faced Bing Westlake, a man formerly known as NMW
President Jason Devall. Rian demanded this match after Bing ran down
ringside and attacked her with his putter for no reason just two months
ago! Cruz defiantly got her payback here, as she gave Bing a beating he
most certainly didn't anticipate! It wasn't long, though, before Bing
pulled out his trusty putter, and nailed Cruz with it! As he went for a
second shot, the ref quickly pulled it away from him! As Bing furiously
argues with the ref, Cruz came to and rolled him up for the 1-2-3!
EZ money made their way to the ring in the biggest stretch limo in the
state! Once in the ring, Jackie Sazerack introduced their mystery
partner for the night....The Khaos Kidd, fully decked out as The Million
Dollar Man! Eric Ruffington, The Eagle Scout, and Jason Wells all made
their way to the ring and gave EZ Money a run for..well..their money!
Jason Wells was able to pull off the victory much tot he fans approval!
After the match, Jackie and PTP blamed Tricky for the loss, as they
attacked their own teammate!
In a grueling Last Man standing Match, Eric Logan and LPC did to each
other what they've been doing for the past several months...beat the
crap out of each other! These two men pushed themselves tot he limit in
order to take the other one out! LPC was able to pull off the victory,
after hitting Logan with a stunner in mid-moonsault!
Next up was the Presidential Debate! Both men running for the position,
Jimmy 'The Bruiser' Osbourne and Phillip H. Dempsey, gave their speeches
declaring why they should be elected. Of course, PHD could not keep from
throwing out insults at Bruiser, and soon he had had enough! Bruiser
picked up a chair and blasted PHD in the back! The fans were fully
behind Bruiser! The results of the debate and the new NMW President will
be announced at Aftermath on Nov. 18th!
Justin MacIntyre finally got his chance to get his hands on Stan
Sallinger, the man who stole his girl, Stephani King! J-Mac defiantly
gave Stan everything that he deserved, and looked like he would have his
victory that he so deserved! That is, until his ex, Stephani King, got
herself involved costing J-Mac the win, and allowing Stan to once again
walk away on top.
NMW Tag Team champions Sage Ramsey and Billy Morgan, accompanied by PHD,
finally had to defend their belts after months of avoiding it! And they
had to face off against none other than 2 of NMW's biggest men: 'Danger'
Doug Fraze and Tank Roberts! Sage and Billy clearly underestimated the
two men, and after a long back and forth bout, new Tag Team Champs were
crowned as Tank and Danger pinned the two! After the match, our new
champs got their hands on PHD, where they proceeded to cut his ponytail
off! The crowd was on their feet for the new champs!
3 Men who hate each other soon hit the ring. 'The Spotlight' Spencer
Powers, The Rev. Guy smith, and Mr. Elite have been in a heated power
struggle for months now, and now they were finally going to see who the
better man was. Mr. Elite held his own against the two most hated men in
NMW, despite all of their efforts to cheat. Soon, even the managers got
involved in the match as Cherry Malone jumped into the ring to attack
Guy followed by RON running in to attack her! Even Rian Cruz ran out to
help even the odds for Mr. Elite! Finally, after all the chaos, Spencer
Powers was able to pull of the win after hitting Mr. Elite with 'The
Shine Down' for the 3 count!
A Tag Team, No DQ match was next on the card. The Hot Boyz boys hit the
ring, followed by a blast from NMW's past..the team of Rip Mystic and
Tom Arson : The Uninvited! These four men put their bodies on the line
in one of the most brutal hardcore matches NMW has EVER seen! Tables,
Ladders, and Chairs.... even bags of chips.....were scattered all over
the place. All four men were taking the beating of their lives! Then,
Scotty Cash did the unthinkable, as he jumped off a scaffolding almost
as high as the rafters and landed right on Rip through a table! But it
wasn’t enough to keep the Uninvited down, as soon Rip was able to get up
long enough to hit a 450 splash onto Benz with a chair for the victory!
Finally, the moment everyone was waiting for. Champion VS. Champion. CI
Champ Michael Shard took on NMW Champ 'The Marvel' Shane Matthews. The
match was simply amazing. Very technical, very back and forth, with the
crowd cheering both men on to victory simultaneously! Every time it
looked like Matthews had the win, Shard was back on his feet, and vice
versa! Just when it looked like it was all over, when Shard had The
Cutting Edge locked in, Matthews was able to roll him over into a
surprising pin, and get the win! Shane Matthews retained his title, as
the crowd went wild. Shard got up, and as a show of respect, shook his
hand. The night ended with a standing ovation for the two men!
All around, and AMAZING night for New Midwest Wrestling! If you missed
