An awesome night at the Warehouse,
as many rivalries really began to heat up! They don't call the show
Rivalry for nothing!
The show opened up with Billy Morgan VS. Donnovan Cain. Cain is a
newcomer to NMW, only appearing twice before in past Brawltoberfests.
This marks his first singles match with the company. But even so, he was
able to hold his own against Billy Morgan. However, Morgan may have had
the home field advantage, and the crowd on his side, as he was able to
pin Cain for the 1-2-3!
Next up, Spencer Powers made his way to the ring, with flowers in hand.
He mentioned that he might have been a little hard on Cherry Malone that
last month or so, and wants to make it up to her. Cherry comes out, and
Spencer gives her the flowers. He then tells her he has a better gift
for her...a match! Cherry looks confused, and not ready for a match,
when suddenly Spencer introduces her opponent as the lovely Elektra
Fine!
Elektra and Cherry begin a match on the spot. Elektra, obviously a dirty
player, tried using many cheap tactics on Cherry. But miss Malone was
certainly able to fight back, with the crowd strongly on her side.
Cherry hit her patented Cherry Picker from the top rope and went for the
pin, but just as the ref was about to count to 3, Spencer pulled him out
of the ring! Cherry went to yell at Spencer, and it wasn't long until
Elektra rolled Cherry up for the 3 count to win the match! Spencer
thanked Elektra, and then got in Cherry's face. He asked her how it felt
when someone messes up a match. He then screamed at her, demanding she
get ready for his match, and warning her not to make any more mistakes.
RON and Steven Bishop made their way to the ring for the next match up.
RON got on the mike and announced that last month, Rian beat Bishop in a
fluke, and that it wasn't fair because RON wasn't there. He claimed he'd
show everyone the power of RON! Cruz made her way to the ring. Once
again, Cruz showed that she can easily handle Bishop on her own, but of
course RON got involved, allowing Bishop to get the win. But after the
match, the music of Guy Smith hit as The Forever Man came barreling down
to the ring. He chased of RON and gave Bishop a few good shots, coming
to the aid of Rian Cruz!
PHD made his way out with Steven Xavier and Eric Ruffington at his side.
He announced that it was time to expand his Faculty, and that anew
member was going to join. Suddenly, Eric Logan came out to the fan's
delight! Logan got on the mike and made mention that everyone loves him,
and that no matter what he does, people will still love him! The crowd
continued to cheer Logan, but soon things took a sour turn. Logan began
saying some very mean spirited things, claiming that the fans are so
dumb they will always cheer him, even if he does such foul things as
"fighting a baby!" He then pledged himself to PHD, asking to be the
newest member of the Faculty. PHD accepted, immediately putting on a
Logan headband. Eric Logan sold out the fans for the President!
The Danger Zone Challenge was next. A contract that granted #1
contendership to the Tag Team Championship sat at the top of a pole, and
four teams were going to compete to win it! Guy Smith and LPC, Eagle
Scout and Sage Ramsey, AC Powers and Jason Lyte, and PHD's own boys
Steven Xavier and Eric Ruffington all competed for the contract. While
everyone was busy fighting each other, Logan ran down tot he ring,
climbed the pole and grabbed the contract! He started to celebrate when
the ref informed him that he couldn’t win because he isn't in the match.
So Logan just handed the contract to Ruffington, and the ref ran the
bell as PHD's boys celebrated their victory!
"Trick" Dick Moore and Jackie Sazerack entered the arena. Jackie once
again tried to screw over Tricky, this time stating that he has to
wrestle the Tag Champs! Tricky then stated that he knew Jackie was going
to pull that, so he got it approved for Jackie to be his partner! Jackie
threw a fit as the tag team champions made their way to the ring! Danger
Doug and Tank Roberts then just beat the tar out of poor Jackie Sazerack,
much to the crowd's approval! Whenever he tried to tag in Tricky, Tricky
would refuse. Jackie was getting pay back for all of the mistreating
he's been doing lately! After the WMD's pinned Jackie, they rolled him
outside and placed him on a table! Tricky came flying over the top rope,
crashing right through Jackie on the table!
Spencer Powers then took on Rip Mystic. Spencer was once again pushing
Cherry around and belittling her in front of everyone. When Spencer had
problems putting Rip away, he made Cherry get in the ring to help him.
He forced her to give Rip the "Cherry Picker" against her will. However,
when she went for it, Rip caught her legs and threw her back, causing
her to hit Spencer! Rip then hit a top rope neck breaker, followed by a
450 splash for the win! After the match, Cherry went to help out
Spencer. He got up and once again accused her of screwing him in the
match. She began to apologize, but Spencer proceeded to smack her across
the face! Rip then came charging back into the ring! He took Spencer
down and gave him several punches. Spencer bailed as Rip and Cherry
hugged in the ring as the crowd went wild with cheers!
The main event was now here. "The Marvel" Shane Matthews took on Michael
Shard for the championship! Once again, it was a grueling back and forth
match. Just when shard thought he had the match, Matthews would stand
back up. He couldn't keep him down! Then, out of nowhere, Marvel was
able to hit Shard with his finisher twice, and got the 3 count for the
win! The crowd exploded with cheers, as Marvel picked up his title! But
suddenly, President PHD made his way out. He claimed that this was a
"championship match" and it was never made clear as to which title this
was for. He told Marvel that he was not the new C.I. Champion, and that
Shard was STILL the NMW Heavyweight Champion! Marvel, in a fury, nailed
PHD with the CI title, and then attacked Shard! He threw down the CI
Title and stormed out. Soon after, PHD announced that Matthews was now
stripped of the CI Title for his actions! PHD says he will make an
official announcement regarding the CI Title soon. It also appears that
Michael Shard, the NMW Champion, has sold his soul to PHD, and joined
his Faculty!
