Last night was one hell of a show
at the Warehouse! A huge crowd of 225 filled the seats, screaming at the
tops of their lungs all night! This was an incredible show that should
not have been missed!
The night opened up with "The Overachiever" Billy Morgan facing off
against AC Powers with Elektra Fine. Powers and Fine used several cheap
tactics to try and overcome the overachiever, but in the end were
unsuccessful, as Morgan was able to get the 3 count to a huge ovation!
Billy Morgan has become the #3 Contender to the NMW Heavyweight
Championship!
Next up, AC Powers’s partner, Jason Lyte, also with Elektra Fine, took
on newcomer Blake Shelton. Shelton was also announced as The Eagle
scouts little brother! Shelton had a very strong showing against Lyte,
but in the end Lyte was able to get the newcomer to tap out, picking up
the win.
Lucious P. Cotrain took on Donovan Cain next on the card. Cain was very
quick, and while at first it seemed he would get the better of LPC, it
all ended with LPC hitting the P-Cole Stunner and getting the pin! LPC
became the #4 Contender to the NMW Heavyweight Championship!
"Mr. Hollywood" Stan Sallinger and "The Man" Matt Boston w/ Stephani
King came out next to take a shot at winning the NMW Tag Team
Championships! The champs, the WMD's came out to a HUGE ovation from the
fans! They made quite quick work of Boston, but soon the tables turned
when Hollywood and The Man started working on Danger Doug's knee! We
were very close to having new Tag Champs, until the WMD's finally
overcame, hitting Sallinger with a Danger Zone Power Bomb/ Top Rope
Clothesline Combo for the win!
"The Up and Comer" Eric Ruffington, who currently holds a contract for
#1 Contendership to the Tag Titles whenever he wishes to take it, came
to the ring with his new partner in crime, Eric Logan. Out came the
Eagle Scout to face him, although there wasn't much he could do, as
Logan and Ruffington basically double teamed him the entire time.
Ruffington was able to get Scout to submit in the end, and became the #5
Contender to the NMW Heavyweight Championship!
"The Forever Man" Guy Smith came out to finally take out RON once and
for all. AS soon as the bell rang, Guy grabbed RON, and RON tapped out
and ran! Guy was declared the winner, but then he got into it with
Steven Bishop, so a new match began! Guy was certainly getting the
better of Bishop, when out of no where Bradley Stephens made his return,
attacking Guy and helping Bishop win! It looks as though Bradley
Stephens is the newest member of the Church of RON!
Eric Logan, accompanied by Ruffington, faced off against Tricky Dick
Moore, who was followed to the ring by Jackie Sazerack. Both Jackie and
Ruffington helped to screw Tricky over in this match, allowing Logan to
pick up the win and the #2 Contendership to the NMW Heavyweight
Championship! After the match, Jackie grabbed a chair, and proceeded to
blast Tricky with it!
"The Spotlight" Spencer Powers came out to a chorus of loud boos, as he
was set to take on Rian Cruz! When Cruz first hit the ring, Spencer
attempted to seduce her, dipping her and going for a kiss! That did not
end well for Spence, as he was slapped hard! Cruz did well holding her
own against Spencer, but in the end submitted to the Abdominal Stretch!
After the match, Spencer asked Cherry to the ring. He got on his knees
and begged her to come back to him! Cherry, much tot he crowd's
approval, declined Spencer's offer! This did not make the Spotlight
happy, as he then grabbed her by the hair and threatened her, to which
she responded with a HARD slap to his face! Suddenly the Hybrids came
out and grabbed Cherry! Spencer introduced his new friends, announcing
that AC Powers was his little brother! Elektra slapped Cherry a few
times while Spencer, AC, and Lyte belittled her. Suddenly, out of the
crowd came Justin MacIntyre! He cleared the ring to help Cherry. Cherry
even got her shots in on Elektra! J-Mac said he was no longer going to
sit back and watch Spencer do this to Cherry, and that he would soon
"beat his ass!"
"The Marvel" Shane Matthews came out to a huge applause, and was ready
to take on Steven Xavier! These two saw a long, hard battle that
resulted in several close calls! However, The Marvel was able to pull
off this victory, much to the crowd's approval! The Marvel is now the #1
Contender to the NMW Heavyweight Championship!!
Sage Ramsey was set to take on Michael Shard in the main event for the
NMW Heavyweight Championship in a No DQ Match! And this match went all
over the building! These two men could not be contained in the ring, as
they fought over the barricades, through the crowd, and all over the
Warehouse! Chairs, Ladders, Road Signs, and Tables were all used in this
brutal match! It was a very rough battle, with both men taking a serious
beating! Then, Sage was able to hit Shard with the Final Fall! Just when
he was about to become the new champion, Steven Xavier intervened in the
match, breaking up the pin! He attacked Sage, allowing Shard to hit him
with a flat liner, and retaining his NMW Heavyweight Championship!
It really was an awesome night at The Warehouse! If you missed this
show, be sure not to miss NMW's next event, Casualties Friday, on March
17th! There will be $2 Green Beer that night, as well as Free Hotdogs!
